Flood and fire damage

Submersion and fire can compromise electrical, structural and safety systems in ways that are not always visible. These are treated as critical conditions.

Structural damage

Significant damage to the chassis, frame or safety cage is a serious concern.

Assembled from parts

Vehicles assembled from spare parts or components are restricted.

Age, speedometer and dismantling conditions

The GSA FAQ lists vehicles above 15 years as prohibited, as well as vehicles with no km/h speedometer and those from parts, scrap or dismantling. Final decisions rest with the inspection and the authority, not this guide.
