Preparing for Ghana Customs
What to gather and check before the vehicle arrives.
Documents to prepare
Typically the certificate, ownership documents, the Bill of Lading or Waybill and importer identification. GRA states what is required.
How duty is determined
Duty is determined by GRA under its rules. PVOCGH does not calculate it. Use the official GRA service.
Preparing before arrival
Some steps may be done before arrival where GRA permits. Confirm with GRA.
On arrival and before release
The vehicle is examined, duty is settled and release is authorised by customs.
